Pump Problems


  • Vibration and cavitation problems at a sewage pump station in Sausalito CA. Provided forensic engineering services to determine why the pump vibrated and cavitated so excessively. Provided one depositions. Furnished trial questions for experts on both sides. Case settled out of court.

  • Investigation of possible negligence and possible unsafe pump design in a death of a worker caused by burns sustained by boiling water and steam issuing from the pump when the discharge pipe was removed. Case still pending.
